Mixer works mechanically used to mix dough ingredients commonly used for baking process. Mixers are divided into several types, there are hand mixer and stand mixer. Hand mixer is usually used to stir the dough of bread or cake in small volume, and its use by grip on the handle. The advantages of a hand mixer are cheaper and easier to clean after use. But in use, hand mixer is more limited in stirring the dough and if the bowl containing the dough is not held then the dough can be scattered.
Stand mixer had a more costly price, but the mixer stand is equipped with a special bowl where the dough and some types of stirrer. Stand mixer has some features such as timer or automatic stop, so more efficient time, while your working tools could also do other things while cooking. However, the mixer stand has a great weight and takes a long time to clean it.
Famous brands such as kitchenaid mixer and keurig are increasingly vigorous in making sophisticated mixers easier to use and more efficient. Usually, housewives or cake makers start with a hand mixer. When it is able or mixing needs more batter then they switch to stand mixer.
To choose which is more appropriate, it is necessary to contemplate the following three things: flexibility, price and functionality. If these three things are the basis of your judgment, then the mixer you choose is a mixer that suits your needs, not just something that suits your liking.
